How fluent will be the communication between the Studio and you ?

Communications and Languages
We understand that miscommunications can result in time being wasted and costs rising. So to eliminate these we minute our meetings and telephone conversations with you and we ask you to confirm back to us that you agree with them. This also gives you an opportunity to make any amendments or to further raise any issues you are not happy with. We then proceed on the firm basis of what has been recorded in the minutes.

Meetings can be held in either English, German, French, Russian, Italian or Spanish, and the minutes for these meetings can also be in either English, German, French, Russian, Italian or Spanish as required.

Quotes and contracts can be in either English, German, French, Russian, Italian or Spanish.

Invoices are in English, German, French, Russian, Italian or Spanish.

Professional work such as technical assessments (formal opinions of the likelihood of getting planning consent), reports and valuations are in Spanish with an English summary.

All the design documents such as the Anteproyecto (Outline Designs), the Proyecto Basico and the Proyecto de Ejecucion are in Spanish. We will ensure that you have a full understanding of their meaning.

 

How does the contract process work ?

Everything we do for you, including any changes you may wish to make as construction progresses, will be preceded by a written quote and then an addendum to the main contract which is signed by both parties.

Contracts can be in English, German, French, Russian, Italian or Spanish. They are always subject to the law in Spain and governed by the courts of Valencia.

All contracts are signed as a hard copy following, if required, a question and answer meeting between the client and ourselves.

How are payments done ?

We ask for part payment in advance, corresponding to the cost of the Preliminary Plans (this amount will never exceed 9000 €) and will be entirely deducted from our professional fees of the project management from the moment on which the project will begin and works will effectively be started. This is a way to seal our agreement so that we won’t start working without a fair remuneration in exchange. Then, it is followed by payments in installments, as the job progresses.

Prepayments for the construction phase are held strictly in accordance with the law, which specifies that your money is held in a separate account and you receive a bank guarantee. From your part, you must know that the contract is signed with irrevocable first-demand guarantee, with your bank.
